Coleridge: Biographia Literaria

Respected sir,
(1) The difference between poem and prose is...
Poem and Prose , both are generally creative in nature and are used to express emotion or tell a story , but their way of presentation are not same.
Poem is more structured in terms of the poet’s imagination, format in which he or she written.
Prose is generally more rigid in terms of grammatical correctness and simple language.
(2)Poem is literary creation and Poetry is the art form. Poem and Poetry are different, but both are representative of each other.
Poetry is hard to write and Poem is hard to understand. Poetry is an activity of the poet’s mind and poem is one of the forms of verbal expression of that activity and poetic activity is basically an activity of the imagination.
