Presentations on T.S. Eliot's 'The Waste Land'

Respected sir,

(1)   My view about...  The Wast Land’ Written by T. S. Eliot is give idea about individual talent and tradition. Concept of human being myths and philosophy. Nietzsche about super human and other Eliot’s idea’s about forward to looks. The image is overcome into T.S.Eliot’s mind to connect with myths and Nietzsche’s connect with philosophy.

2. Freud had talked about natural instint (food to sex) and one should satisfy his or her instint for better state of mind. while Eliot was very traditional minded and he had said that  one should be movie towards  religion. And poem speaks about the main theme sexual perversion and excetly  to move towards culture and tradition.

3. The Indian allusions are of “Ganga”, “Himavat”, “Data”, “Dayadhvam”, “Damyata” and “Shantih, Shantih, Shantih”.He makes use of Indian allusions in the last part- which symbolically mean that he comes to Indian Spirituality for the solution of his questions. Data means be a giver, what have you given? Dayadhvam means sympathy for others. Damyata means Self- control. He ends his poem by lines  Shantih, Shantih, Shantih, which is taken from Upanishad.
       Thankyou.....
